Episode Three: Dragon Hatchery

The group moves on from the bat cave. They have three paths to go, one to the west, to the north, and to the east. Mr. Sketl first checks the eastern path. It ends up leading to a cold cave used to store meat. The tarp that covers the room is covered in poison barbs. Silvertongue checks the north, which leads to a twenty foot pit of garbage and random objects. Adrik checks to the west, and discovers a room of kobolds and guard drakes.

Mr. Sketl explores the trash heap. He is jumped by four troglodytes. He manages to escape however, and inform the party of the threat. They then move into the room of kobolds. They fool the kobolds into checking out the trash heap. They are shredded by the troglodytes, but two flee. The troglodytes follow and end up attacking the party.

The party manages to hold them off, and even kill the remaining kobold for good measure. They head into the room again where they split up. Adrik and Tyrion head down a stairway while Mr. Sketl and Silvertongue investigate the guard drakes.

Adrik and Tyrion find a room of twelve kobolds. They manage to bluff their way out of the situation when they are noticed and head further down into the cave.

Mr. Sketl and Silvertongue head back and grab meat from the meat storage room. They begin to feed the guard drakes as Mr. Sketl heads into their cage in an attempt to tame one.

Adrik and Tyrion stumble into the shrine dedicated to Tiamat. Here, Cyanwrath, the blue half-dragon that killed Adrik at the end of the raid on Greenest, threatens him to another duel of honor. Tyrion runs, heading back to find the others. Adrik accepts the duel, and two beserkers block the escape route as the two position themselves. Adrik then demands that they fight with honor, only fists, no weapons. The half-dragon loves the honorable challenge and throws his weapons aside.

At this point, Mr. Sketl is in the cage, holding his hand out to a calming Guard Drake as Silvertongue feeds the other beasts. Suddenly, Tyrion rushes into the room, yelling that Cyanwrath is fighting Adrik. The Guard Drake gets startled and attacks Mr. Sketl. He manages to escape and slam the door shut behind him.

Tyrion sees this unfolds and backs off down te cave, leaving his healing potion on the ground as an apology.

The fight continues down in the shrine. Cyanwrath makes the first move, punching Adrik across the face. Adrik attempts to use magic to his advantage, firing an arcane bolt but missing. Cyanwrath is furious at this dirty action, and he backs off to pick up his sword before slamming Adrik with a lightning bolt.

Meanwhile, Mr. Sketl and SIlvertongue catch up with Adrik. My. Sketl demands to know where Adrik is before bolting down to help him. He thunderblasts his way into the shrine, knocking the two beserkers back. Silvertongue and Tyrion dash to the side of Mr. Sketl.

Cyanwrath charges Adrik with his sword, continuing the battle. As the others fight their way in, Adrik holds of Cyanwrath's blows as he attempts to survive. The beserkers recklessly attack, sacrificing defence for offence. Finally, after a few hits from SIlvetrtongue's bow and a massive critical hit from Adrik, Cyanwrath falls. The two beserkers put up a bit of a fight but in the end crumble at the feets of the heroes. However, they did not fall before dropping Mr. Sketl who exploded into pieces on the verge of death.

The heroes rejoice their victory. Mr. Sketl stablalizes and is healed and the party observe the room. They also pick the teasure chest and manage to open it. Sadly however, SIlvertongue was not very skillful at the lock, and a trap is triggered. Acid sprays intothe rom, dropping both Adrik and Tyrion. The other two pull their friends to saftey, but have no way to heal them. Luckily, Navarra shows up, healing the party as she had decided to come help the heroes, regretting her choice to leave.

The heroes now sit in a small tunnel. One way back to the shrine, the other to a dozen kobolds.
